How to launch a multilingual, multi-market storefront
Set language, currency, content, and checkout rules market by market before opening a multilingual storefront.

Multilingual commerce takes more than translating one message. Each market needs a decision on buyer language, currency, shipping, payments, and support.
Get one market working first
Start with the market where the language and payment setup are clearest. Complete one full purchase path. You can reuse the product structure and page modules later, but rewrite the titles, product copy, units, and shipping information for each new market.
Check the market before opening it
- Product titles, image text, and measurements make sense to local buyers.
- Price, currency, taxes, and shipping are presented consistently.
- Checkout only offers payment methods available in that market.
- Contact, delivery, and return information matches the actual service.
Articles need local context too
Search pages should state their language and intended audience accurately. Do not copy one article into markets where it has no local use. Add another language when the content and service behind it are ready.
