Airwallex Configuration Guide

Airwallex is a cross-border payment service provider for global merchants, supporting multi-currency acquiring and settlement, suitable for international e-commerce business.

Prerequisites

Register Airwallex Account

Visit airwallex.com to register account, enable Payment Acceptance feature.

Get API Credentials

Get Client ID and API Key in API Keys / Developer page.

Configuration Steps

Step 1: Enter Payment Platform Management

In admin panel go to Payment Platform Management, find Airwallex configuration item.

Step 2: Fill in Credential Information

Fill in Client ID and API Key.

Step 3: Select Environment

Select current environment: sandbox or production. Sandbox API URL: api-demo.airwallex.com Production API URL: api.airwallex.com

Step 4: Set Default Currency

Set default currency code, such as USD, EUR, AUD, etc.

Step 5: Save and Test

Use official test cards to verify payment process.

Notes

  • Sandbox and production environment credentials are different
  • Production environment must configure domain whitelist in Airwallex console
  • Amount unit is in yuan, keep two decimal places
  • Recommend completing testing in sandbox before switching to production
